Don’t hesitate to ask for the law’s intervention if you need to get out of your house. A police officer would rather come to your home to remove a spouse than to remove a body. Law enforcement enforces lots of other laws besides just murder and other violent crimes. Your rights to live without threats and to leave the home as you please are two rights that the cops will be happy to help you enforce.
