Does a judge always award custody to the mother?

Mothers are not better parents because they have the reproductive organs to give birth. Fathers are not better parents because they can generally provide more financially comfortable homes. The primary caretaker of the children and preserving their routine must supersede each parent’s desire to wave the flag for their respective oppressed gender. Articulate in writing your basis for seeking the custody you seek, and run it by an objective third party to see whether it passes the “smell test.”
