Making divorce easier on kids, Part 2

Regardless of how you split other things, it’s best to share equally in those things that have a direct effect on the children, such as frequent-flyer miles. Children should not have to experience a competition between their parents or to enjoy with only one parent the things they once enjoyed all the time with both parents. When you and your ex can’t agree on an item in the property division, specify in the divorce agreement that you will share the item equally for the benefit of your children.
