Can you make special accommodations if one parent needs a home that will accommodate a pet?

Yes, and because you can, you must. You might not expect a judge to consider your children’s feelings and the impact of their pets on their lives, but you, the parents, the only people on the planet sworn to give those kids unconditional love, should stretch if necessary to make the least intrusion into the kids’ stability.
