Can I prevent my spouse from manipulating my kids by taking lavish vacations with them?

Allowing the kids to benefit from the standard of living that both parents enjoy is a good thing, even if one parent is jealous. However, so as not to confuse the kids or create a Disneyland environment at one home, many people limit the amount, in their divorce agreement, that they will spend on vacations with the children.
