If at all possible, don’t drastically change the parenting time schedule immediately after the divorce. How many surprises do you really think your kids can handle all at once? Keep in mind that you are changing your marital status but not your parental status. You owe your kids what you failed to give or get from each other. Agree to a temporary schedule and explain in your divorce agreement how and when you will modify it in the future.
