Buy a life insurance policy, if you don’t already have one. If it seems reasonable to sacrifice two pizzas a month to keep your kids financially stable if you die tomorrow, get term life insurance. Your kids should not have to bear the financial risk of tragedy, even if the likelihood is remote. Term life insurance covers you just for the period you need it, so it’s cheaper to get.
