What to tell your kids about divorce, Part 3
Make sure they understand that you will not be lonely or devastated when they are with the other parent. It is smart to agree not only on parenting time but also on how you will fill your alone time—both to make sure you have some and also to make sure you don’t have so much that all you do is sulk. Some of that information, while seemingly too personal to be in a legal document, often helps clarify everyone’s future intentions, so there’s no good reason to leave it out of your divorce agreement.
