Is there such a thing as too much of a voice?

If your kids have hoodwinked you into allowing things you never would have permitted when married, or things no reasonable person would indulge, you’re letting the tail wag the dog. If your kids are contradicting your shared values or asking you to do something that you never would have permitted when married, the voice has gone to an extreme. Those shared values ought to be outlined in your agreement.
