How can teens and kids raise their objections?

Any divorce professional who, within the first ten minutes of a conversation, doesn’t mention giving your kids a voice isn’t worth using. Not everyone who objects changes the decision, but all deserve to be heard. Let your teen or child talk to your divorce professional or an intermediary and assure them of complete confidentiality. It might also be a very good idea to put the kids’ and teens’ opinions into the agreement as the rationale for the relevant adult decisions.
