Dealing with an angry spouse, Part 3
Be clear about the facts so that you can speak objectively. It is not a federal law that you have to fight in a divorce. No matter what anyone else says, you can start planning to make tomorrow better than yesterday, which may mean making a conscious decision to catch yourself complaining and deliberately stop. People who are overly emotional can be just as harmful as those who don’t acknowledge emotion. Concerns, even those with an emotional basis, need to be written into written into a divorce agreement. Being heard is often enough to put an issue to rest so it doesn’t plague your kids down the road.
